Your Greenville Symphony pulls out all the festive stops to ring in the season. You’d never guess Holiday at Peace has been going strong for decades because she’s as fresh as ever with nationally renowned soloists and a joyful showcase of the best local talent. The orchestra, vocalists, and dancers weave a narrative celebrating the magic of the season.

Siri Howard, vocalist

A resident of Greenville, Siri is thrilled to be making her debut with the Greenville Symphony! Ms. Howard is a Broadway actress, recording artist, and concert performer who began her professional career at age 10 and has continued to perform on some of the world’s most prestigious stages. On Broadway Siri has appeared in: Les Misérables and The Sound of Music (Broadway Revival cast recording). National Tours include: The Phantom of the Opera, Parade, Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Production, and The Sound of Music starring Richard Chamberlain. Other notable highlights include: The Music Man (Marian Paroo)- IRNE Nomination Best Lead Actress, North Shore Music Theatre; Sweeney Todd starring Emma Thompson, “Live from Lincoln Center” on PBS; She Loves Me (Amalia Balash), opposite Tony Award Nominee, Bryce Pinkham; South Pacific (Nellie Forbush), Gulf Coast Symphony; Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), Maine State Music Theatre; A Little Night Music 25th Anniversary Production (Fredrika), with the Philadelphia Orchestra; Les Misérables (Cosette), Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Maine State Music Theatre, and North Shore Music Theatre; Oklahoma! (Laurey), Gulf Coast Symphony.

Locally, Siri has been seen at the Greenville Theatre in Into the Woods (Cinderella) and Something Rotten (Portia), Bewitched Broadway (soloist), as well as multiple concerts. She recently appeared in the South Carolina New Play Festival in the acclaimed reading of Adam Gwon’s All the World’s a Stage as Dede. She has also given concerts with the Greenville Youth Chorale, and concert appearances with her husband, Max Quinlan.

As a soloist, Siri has appeared with the New York Philharmonic, Omaha Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Nashville Symphony, NJ Symphony Orchestra, Steamboat Springs Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and The Florida Orchestra.

The child of a choral director, Ms. Howard has a deep love for classical music, and has performed concerts of Brahms’ Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Bernstein’s Songfest, Berg’s Wozzeck, Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and operas such as Le Nozze di Figaro, the NY premiere of Orpheus Descending, Dido and Aeneas, Cendrillon, and La Bohéme.

Ms. Howard has performed with the USO for veterans and active duty military, as well as the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball Drop in 2016. She has appeared on multiple annual Carols for a Cure Broadway albums, and as a featured artist on the concept album, Song of Solomon. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Maryland College Park, and a Master of Arts in vocal performance from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Siri is a professor at USC Upstate, as well as giving master classes around the country. She is married to director Max Quinlan, and is proudest of her role as mother to their 2 children, Jack and Sofie. Happy Holidays!

 

International Ballet

International Ballet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire joy and success through professional ballet training and performances. Founded in 2003 by Lena Forster and now under the leadership of Artistic Director Vlada Kysselova and President Sarah Shoemaker, International Ballet is a resident company of the Peace Center and a proud partner of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Long Branch Baptist Church Gospel Choir

The Long Branch Baptist Church Choir is a talented group of singers who serve their church and the Greenville community through music. Their pastor is Rev. Sean Dogan who is also one of the board members of the Greenville Symphony. Long Branch has been featured in the lobby of the Peace Center for the last 2 years prior to the Symphony’s performance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michael McCrary, dancer/choreographer
MICHAEL McCRARY is an International creative based in New York City. He has created over 20 digital videos that have reached millions of views collectively across Instagram and YouTube. He has worked creatively with Todrick Hall (first AD on ICON), RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16 contestants Plasma and Sapphira Cristal (Bloody Mary, DROMP, ENOUGH, the CRISTAL BALL), and Omar Jose Cardona (The VOICE Season 22). As a choreographer, he has worked for the CW (Hollywood Christmas Parade), TD Bank, Metropolis Productions, Mary Kay, Hasbro, Toys R US, Macy’s, Basic Fun!, and RWS Global (MSC, Iberostar). Michael started his business, Michael McCrary VIBE, in 2022. His business creates custom digital content, live events, and stage shows for various artists and brands both nationally and internationally. VIBE also operates a dance education program in Greenville, South Carolina training youth and adult dancers. Michael is a guest faculty member at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center in NYC.
