a matching gift challenge
The GSO has received a $25,000 challenge gift to spread the joy of live orchestral music to the younger generations in our community! This gift was inspired by the children who attended the GSO’s opening weekend performances of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in October and sat entranced through the “Ode to Joy” chorus.
Our goal is to fully match this $25,000 gift and sponsor 1,500 student tickets for the 2025-2026 season! With your generous support, we will be able to fill our concert halls with young folks and their families whose lives will be transformed by orchestral experiences.
